Sharon Yvonne Stone born 10th March 1958 to Dorothy Lawson, a accountant and Joseph William Stone 2nd, an ex-tool and die operator and factory worker. Michael, Kelly, Patrick and Dorothy Lawson are her 3 siblings. Stone was regarded as academically gifted when she started in the second grade at age five. She was a graduate of Saegertown High School, located in Saegertown, Pennsylvania, in 1975. She also competed for the Miss Pennsylvania beauty pageant, and was crowned Miss Crawford County. Stone relocated with her aunt from New Jersey, where she began a modeling career. In the following month, Stone signed up at the Ford Modeling Agency. While in Europe Stone was able to spend a whole year living in Milano as well as Paris. Stone was disillusioned with the fashion industry that was thriving in Europe began acting in Europe.
