Wood also had a minor character on Dear Doctor which is a collection of short films that are based around the life of young Doctor Henry Lawson. Wood's debut was in Edward Burns' 2010 feature Good Guy Johnny. She was Claire, an unimportant character. The main roles in the film were portrayed by Max Baker Kerry Biche and Matt Bush. She also appeared in the television series Brothers and Sisters, the short film Delusions of Love : A Case study in Jealousy and 19th Century Formal Wear and Project Layla. Anna Wood portrayed Monica in Josh Trunk's fantasy film The Chronicle, released in 2012. The film follows Andrew (the principal character) and Matt (the secondary persona), two teenage boys that go to a spooky cave to discover paranormal skills. The main characters of the film were and were played by the actors Alex Russell and Dane Dehan who later became the husband of the actress. Anna also appeared as a guest star in the television drama series NCIS Los Angeles Mad Men. Also, she appeared in Abode of Lies. Anna as well as Dane were students in the School of the Arts at the University of North Carolina when they met. After 3 years of dating, the young couple were able to get married in June of 2012. Wedding ceremony in beautiful Blue Ridge, Virginia. The actress announced at the time of her first interview in November 2016 that she was expecting a new addition to their family. Bowie Rose Dehan, their daughter, was born on April 2nd, 2017. Anna announced that she was expecting a second baby on the 27th of December 2019, just a couple of years later than the first. The birth of the second Dehaan child was announced via the Instagram account of the Dehaan family. Anna and Dane already know they'll be expecting an infant. Anna Wood and Dane DeHaan offer a great illustration of the strong and healthy relationship found within Hollywood families. She is able to play her roles as mother along with wife, mother and actress.
